Francesca da Rimini. Dante’s verses and D’Annunzio’s dialogues recited with the music of Tchaikovsky
In the three readings which can be heard on this page, Alessandra Mandese lends her voice to Francesca da Rimini both in Dante's verses and in two dialogues with Paul, extracted from the tragedy Francesca da Rimini by Gabriele D’Annunzio. The musical background comes from the symphonic poem of the same name by Tchaikovsky. The male voice is that of Giuliano Turone, author and editor of this website.
