Áslaug Torfadóttir is a young Icelandic actress trained at the Rose Bruford College of Theatre and Performance of London and at Goldsmiths University of London as well as at the Stephen F. Austin University of Nacogdoches, Texas. She has acted in shorts and feature films, but prefers the theatre, whether in Iceland or the United Kingdom. She lives in Reykjavík.
Áslaug Torfadóttir has lent her voice to Francesca da Rimini and read the relevant verses (88-142) in the translation into Icelandic of Erlingur E. Halldórsson.
